For the 2024/25 season of the San Jose Sharks, we have four seats located in Section 201, Row 2 seats 11, 12, 13 and 14. Our Season tickets include 41 regular season games and 3 preseason games. There is a fourth pre-season game this year that is not included in our tickets.
“Face Value” of tickets has been reduced from $76 each (in 2021-22) to $68 a ticket and there is a $25 yearly renewal fee. The total cost of the tickets is $11,993 for the 2024/25 season. We are locked into the same price for the 2025/26 season.
The $68 ticket price is an average price. The Sharks have implemented tiered pricing and we will charge the tiered ticket price to everyone in the group. https://www.nhl.com/sharks/tickets/tickettrade explains the ticket tiers and also the ticket trade in program. The price break down is as follows: D tier - 17 games - $55.08 a game, C Tier - 8 games - $64.40, B tier - 9 games - $71.40, A tier - 4 games - $78,54, A+/grade inflation tier - 5 games - $90.44, R tier - 1 game (Thornton retirement) - $129.88. The prices for each game are listed on our schedule.
In case anyone would like to watch a game from the Penthosue Lounge (which includes food and drink), the pricing is D tier - 17 games - $235.85 a game, C Tier - 8 games - $259.70, B tier - 9 games - $278.25, A tier - 4 games - $296.80, A+ tier - 5 games - $302.10, R tier - 1 game (Thornton retirement) - $371.
For the 2024/254 season, we will continue the established practice of having the managing partners (Monica and Paul Rank) pay for the tickets on a monthly basis and having each participant pay Monica and Paul for their tickets. As mentioned above, we will be charging the tiered ticket price for every game.
In 2024/25, the Sharks will allow us to trade in unlimited pre-season (and regular season) tickets for credit for regular season games. This perk should continue for at least a few years. Due to the ticket exchange program, we will no longer subsidize the price of pre-season games and we will charge the tiered ticket pricing (and probably trade in the pre-season games).
Only the main account holder will be able to place the orders for the replacement game tickets or seat upgrades. Once the replacement tickets/upgrades are purchased, they will be digitally transferred to the correct account. Details for the Ticket Exchange program are available at https://www.nhl.com/sharks/tickets/tickettrade. If you want to trade in any tickets, please let Paul and Monica know and we will process your trade. Please note that trades require 48 hour notice, but exceptions can be made.
We are also able to purchase tickets for any game at the season ticket holder price. This includes the Penthouse Lounger and the (former BMW) Lounge. If you want to purchase additional tickets, please let Paul and Monica know and we will obtain the tickets that you want.
We will continue to use the online/remote ticket allocation process that we started in 2021/22.
Here is the process we will follow in 2024/25 (same as 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24):
The hope is that this system will allow everyone more time to think about the games that they can attend when their top game picks are already taken. It will also allow everyone to make their own picks.
In 2023/24 we will use the same Franchise Game process as we did in 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24:
In 2024/25 the Sharks will place all the tickets in the main ticketholder account and they will then be transferred to the correct accounts.
Seriously, who are we kidding? If a miracle happens, we will continue to split the playoff tickets based on the number of season ticket pairs. There are multiple options on how to handle the allocation of the individual game tickets:
The Sharks would bill the Managing Partner for the tickets.
Individual members would then pay the managing partner for
the playoff tickets they receive.
